You aren’t reading wrong… people are just really annoying

Being part of the book community in general (Booktok, Booktube, Bookstagram) comes with unspoken rules that like I said in my previous post, are deeply personal issues. I was mean in that post and I’m not apologizing, but I do want to give all of us readers a positive post.

You are not reading wrong. There is no wrong way to read— whether that’s physical copies or audiobooks. It doesn’t matter and should never matter as long as you are taking in the material and processing it with your brain. You don’t need to do a deep analysis, or take notes in your books, or only read classics. All of it is a bunch of bullshit that stems from a lot of deep rooted issues from internal and external factors. By internal I mean personal experiences, insecurities. External factors include friends, family, school, teachers, etc. who have influenced you to believe one way or another. Think that pretentious dickhead who said if you never read Tolstoy, then you suck. BTW who the fuck is Tolstoy?

So read however you want and tell everyone to fuck off.
